The Young People’s Chorus of New York City produces a sound unlike any other in the world. It is a sound that comes from the voices of over 2,000 children coming together and exploring the gifts of music, education, creativity, and community. By supporting the Young People's Chorus of New York City 2023 Gala, you are supporting and affirming the transformational power of music in the lives of young artists. YPC provides children with an award-winning program of music education and choral performance, commissions for new music from today’s leading composers, performances on the world’s greatest stages, as well as YPC’s College Bound initiative, which ensures that 100% of our graduating senior choristers continue on to higher education.

YPC serves over 1,500 young people each year through a partnership with the New York City public schools. Your donation will bring YPC’s innovative music education and choral performance program to children across the city, led by YPC conductors, accompanied by live professional musicians, and supported by YPC’s exclusive curriculum songbook.
