School Choruses Partnerships With New York City Schools

To reach children in musically underserved schools across the city, YPC introduced its School Choruses program in partnership with New York City schools in 2003. Under the direction of YPC Associate Artistic Director, Elizabeth Núñez, YPC conductors reach hundreds of children in their classrooms each year with YPC’s award-winning, performance-based curriculum. Children perform in their schools, communities, and come together at the end of every school year to give a professional public concert in a major New York City concert hall.
