On May 9th, 2022, we’re not just raising our voices in song, we’re raising hope, raising spirits, and raising the bar for the future. Our first live gala in two years, Raising Voices in the Key of Love, is an evening you will never forget!
At the magnificent Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall, the young artists of the Young People’s Chorus of New York City, led by Founder and Artistic Director Francisco J. Núñez, and accompanied by a 28-piece orchestra and some very special guests, will electrify and inspire with world-class, fully-choreographed performances of everything from Mozart to Motown.
When you join us, you too will have an opportunity like no other. To elevate the dreams of over 2,000 children from every borough and background in NYC. To amplify the voices and ideas of the future. And to give our young people the support they need to succeed on the paths they are already charging down, the paths that will change our communities—and our world—for the better.
You won’t want to miss it!

The Young People’s Chorus of New York City produces a sound unlike any other in the world. It is a sound that comes from the voices of over 2,000 children coming together and exploring the gifts of music, education, creativity, and community.
By supporting the YPC Gala, you are supporting and affirming the transformational power of music in the lives of children. Our award-winning program of music education and choral performance, commissions for new music from today’s leading composers, performances on the world’s greatest stages, as well as YPC’s College Bound initiative, which ensures that 100% of our graduating senior choristers continue on to higher education.
